Hi folks.
First off, let me take a sec to wish you all a happy time of year. Whether it's Christmas or Hanukkah or Wookiee Life Day or whatever the hell you celebrate, we genuinely hope it's a good time of year.
2016 brings us into the second year of operation for Aurora Fleet, and also into the 50th year of operation for the franchise. We began this place to have somewhere to go to tell stories without the heavy-handedness of other Trek sites, and we're enormously happy to have everyone on board. The site isn't all things to everyone, and it was never meant to be. If you're here and you dig it, great! Your continued support means a lot.
I'm going to step aside from dat pluralis majestatis for a second and focus on me personally. To put it lightly, it's been a very rough year. Early 2015 saw the beginning of the end of my marriage, and the subsequent divorce proceedings. Although this was a welcome and needed change, it was still a hard one. I sometimes haven't been the greatest to people at times, and I certainly didn't give the site the attention it needed from it's co-admin. I aim to change that in 2016.
The risk of writing things at 2:30 am is that you tend to ramble pointlessly, so I'll wrap it up by saying MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone, and thank you for being a part of this with us.
