Backstory

The only son of of James and Tameka Hart.   Jon leaved on alpha Centauri for most of his childhood.  He spent most of his life waiting to leave the planet.  He dreamed of travel the stars as Captain of his own starship.  And at five he set his sight on that goal, when he meet the then Captain of the USS Hood Marcus Castor.  The man gave a speech to the students of his form elementary school.  The moment Jon saw him, he knew he join starfleet.   The man demand authority with just his presents.  A room full of children quieted down with just a raised hand.  So Jon study.  He study hard ever spare second he could, sacrifice friend and his childhood.  But the day he made it into Starfleet Academy was the happiest day of his life.

You have arrived at your newest assignment...

"That the Phoenix?", Jon said to no one.  He looked at the ship from the observation deck.   The ship had been dock in the upper ring being prepared for it's maiden voyage.  If Jon were honest, he wasn't that excited about the ship.  He'd never been a fan of the Nebula class ships.  They were squat like a troll, and a lot of it's features were underwhelming.  But it was a multipurpose ship and best of all... an explorer.   That was something he did look forward to.  

Jon took one last look at his new home from the outside.   He raised his fist and knock on the glass twice fast, while giving one of his rare smiles.   He picked up the duffel bag, and headed to dock port.

"So it begins.", he said.

Welcome to Aurora Fleet!

I'm afraid we can't offer you a flight control position at the moment, but we would like to offer you the post of Operations Officer on the USS Phoenix with the starting rank of Ensign.

We've just started a mission on Starbase Athena to gather together all of the Phoenix's crew and get us started off, so feel free to jump in!
