Discussion Topic - Mission 1: Reductio ad Absurdum

This is the place for general chatter, tagging, and whatnot for the mission. It'll probably be helpful for this one, since everybody will be posting together.

Keep on topic, on point, be excellent to each other, and HAVE FUN. ^_^

Also, a brief mention - be sure to remember your location tags. It'll be very helpful with all the posting going on in lots of parts of the station.

A note about quoting. One thing the forum does that's REALLY ANNOYING is that, when you quote a post that's quoting another post, it'll include both of them, instead of just the post you hit 'quote' for. I don't know how to remove this. I've tried, and researched, and apparently that's just 'how it is'. So, unfortunately, if you don't want to quote a stack, you have to manually delete the re-quoted post from what you were trying to quote. It doesn't really take that long to do in the big picture, but...still annoying.

Ok, folks, the maguffin of this present mission has made its appearance. We'll be digging into the meat of everything very soon.

Spores have been released throughout the station.

Basically, what happens is similar to the polywater intoxication - these spores are breathed in, and alter your brain chemistry, bringing emotions to the forefront and making people volatile, tearing down inhibitions and the like, so decide what would be the best way for your character to react.

Sounds like a blast. Maybe that's why I've got a headache. I'll try to write a post today if I can get rid of it.

Ok, folks -- we're nearing the final quarter of this current mission, and good posting all around!

If any of you have fallen asleep or unconscious, you'll start to notice a lessening of the spore-induced wackiness.

Stark ordered a group to go to the botany lab, which was ground zero for this spore infection. He also sent a security detachment with them. In the corridors, the group has just encountered a pair of spore-crazed Ferengi, intent on making it to Sickbay to skin poor Ogrim the Ithenite and make boots out of his gold skin.
